First Week Of School

The first day of school is always the wake up time because when it's the holidays it doesn't really matter because there nothing going on tomorrow not if you have something going on tomorrow. So it's the next day for first day of school your running around getting all your stuff organised. Waking up getting your hair done and getting your lunch all set to go.

At school getting your shoes on ready to go to mass. Mass is always fun because it's a time to reflect on Jesus and God. Some people might think it's boring because when it's Mass sometimes it takes about one whole hour.

In the class doing my very first contract in two weeks! It's fun do work again and see my friends and see the teacher. Now play time I can play with my friends.

Athletics Training

Lately we have been doing athletics training. My favourite thing to do is high jump and my second favourite thing to do is sprints and then long jump and shot put. I always try my best so I have good training.

I always find athletics training the best because it's a time to get out there and do something fun with your friends. We do training everyday sometimes we will do it with the Juniors which is quite fun.

Sometimes if you go to the finals it's is quite hard sometimes cause your not use to high jump in that place cause there matts are normally smaller then our matts and feels different.

In athletics training when it comes to sprints like 200,300,400 metre are always hard for me      200 sprints are ok to me but 300 and 400 are over my limit!

At the finals it's also is fun to catch up with friends and have a little chat with them                    especially with friends you haven't talk to in a while.

The Skeleton

 The Skeleton

Did you know that the skeleton holds more than 206 bones. And all those bones all play an important role in the body. Making sure that the body functions properly. If a bone is broken all bones around can’t perform their role.

DId you know that when babies are born they are born with 300 bones and older people

Or kids have 206 bones! How is this possible? This is because when you start to get older your bones start to grow together to become more stronger.

Do you know where the smallest bone in your body is?....

The ear 5mm it is located in your ear right in the middle and has another name which

Is called stirrup because it looks like a Y shape.

Did you know that bones are designed to take a beating! We would properly think that it’s post to keep your body stable but nope! Just imagine what your skeleton goes through?

Do you know what your bones are filled with…

Bones are in fact filled with a spongy tissue. It locate mostly in the bigger bones

In your body like your hips and pelvis.

When you broken a bone and you get a cast you would think that the cast heals

Your bones right. But no your bone are the things that heals your bones

And once there broken you bones go straight to working to heal your bone.

Human bones grow continually from birth till our mid 20s. Our skeleton's bone mass is at its maximum growth around the age of 30.

environmentally planting

Today we were planting at Lake Gem our guide Karen was showing us the plants that we would be planting. But when we got there the plants were already laid when we got there. We were planting               Manuka,Kanuka,Karaka and heaps of others it was fun helping the environment but we had to make sure that we didn't step on any of the plants. There was also a huge tree stump that the class got on to take a photo of us all.

We also had some parents helping with the planting just encase it would take to long but it ended up quit quick I was surprised because there quit a lot of trees to do and there was more than one box of plants!

There was also another place that we were planting it was on the other side and we ended up get a photo with the yellow truck that was bringing in plants to be planted .

As you can see that there were some people on the stump in the background and some on the back of the truck. It was really a fun thing to do then we had lunch next to the lake. I would love to go there again to do some more planting.

What I want to learn about.

I think world is Important to learn about the world has a lot of places to
explore but our world is way smaller from space just imagine how small we would be.

I want to learn more about world war one and world war two.
I want to learn how to create things like phones to computer

At my School we mostly have to sets of task we have literacy and math
we do have a lot of mixed task on a contract we used to have just two contracts one math and one
literacy which was kind weird to me though but know we have mixed task on one contract which is
way better.

So what I want to learn is manics and technology.

About my holidays

In my holidays we didn't really do much out of home but I did help  my poppa with the farm.
On the farm it was so flooded some of the rain was so HARD! that some of our hill was coming off!
and it was so muddy. We had a bridge going across to another paddock and some of the bridge washed away so we can't go across there! Lucky there were no cows there.

We also feed a lot hay to the cows but I find it pretty hard to put the hay where it isn't wet.
The cows would always love the only when it wasn't wet and you would differently not put it in the
cow poo.

I also helped my Nana with the house an played a lot of games with my Nana like
scrabble.

FREEDOM!

Today It is level one! it's FREEDOM! we can go to our normal lives let's just go back in time a bit.

In level 4. It was a nightmare all we could do to contact our friends was to use hangouts which was kind of
fun to be honest. At lest we  could enjoy some time with our family we don't see them very often only in the holidays mostly because we were at school. We could help parents with the dishes and the jobs.

Level 3. Was alright we could still go outside for those who need there coffees and people that need
there fast food so it was kind of a time where you just had to keep your distances.

Level 2. was the second beast this was where we could meet our friends but still keep our distance.
Where were aloud to have a gathering of 10 and go back to school to school.

NOW TODAY IT IS NOW IT'S LEVEL ONE IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE.
Level 1 was the beast because we could basically go back to the normal life here in New Zealand
we could go back to our Favorited shops again and see our friends and do sports again and swimming. We also got to see the our nation again.

powerful paragraph.

BOOM! In our powerful paragraph we have to describe a picture you can also do how you got there and why someone is here so really all you have to do is write from the person view.

We had to use level 3 our 4 learning but level four is what where aiming for.
our class had to use cops which stand for capital letters, organise, punctuation, spelling.
Also we had to use similes and metaphors we did a work sheet to work on it last week.

I enjoyed doing this writing it helps me to use more dispirited words.

Emotion wheel

On Tuesday we did a emotion wheel on this wheel we had to do 6 emotions one of them was
anger another one was sad and scared proud happy and lucky last existed. We were not allowed to do faces we had to do it in patterns
so that still meant no! emojis. On this task first
we had to do a plan then we started our new one
my first one which was my plan took me one day what was a really long time just for a plan right
so when it came to the moment when I had to do my real one I changed a lot of things because my last one I didn't really try I  don't really know but I just really wanted to get straight to my first second
one the rainbow one is existed the sun one is happy the blue and black one is scared the lightning one is sad the trophy one is proud and the volcano one is angry. I like this task because I can express my feeling when it comes to emotions all people have there way of patterns and how we see our own one.

What you can do in lock down

In lock down It can get boring over time you play to many board games and you want
new board games well now you can order online from the Warehouse
so you can get the the entertainment you need so you don't get boring for you.

Another thing you can do is write a prayer for food staff for keeping the food at our super market
we can give them a letter saying thank you and you can give them a thumbs up.

You can also pray for the people in the hospital that are saving people lives and farmers that produces milk and Delicious fruit for us and our healthy vegetable.

                          Thank you

Words of the week.

The word of the week                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    I learnt from the words of the week is that I can learn new words and what they mean
It will also help me with my vocab. In this task you
find new meaning for words instead of plane one like something, scary
and other things. But mostly in this task is to help you with your vocab.
Also on the task we have a definition what means what does the word mean and we have
a synonym it has to be the same meaning as your definition just a different word
and we have a antonym what has to be the opposite of the definition and the last one is the sentences
the sentences has to evolve your definition word.

I find about this task is that it can be fun you can help with vocab and
use it as you grow up. I also find learning
new words and what they mean.

My most biggest challenge for the words of the week is that I find it very difficult
to find the word in the dictionary and trying to find
a synonym for the word.

Our Confession

The confession
This week we were doing a poem that had to be something about something that
we did what we weren't supposed  to do. In in other words a confession.

We had to lest out the words and use sentences like these.

  • I have
  • And which you
  • Forgive me
We had to use the same format and structure  and we had to use a background that would match
our confession.

I did a poem about how I stole ice blocks so I would do a ice block background.

100 words.

100 words                                                               This week Mrs Cutler, our teacher, was reading some articles that had exactly 100 word not 99 or 101 exactly 100 words she was reading examples to us and she wanted us to
create one of our own so I had few plans on what I should do. The first one was fat cats goes missing but it was a bit
weird so I went to the next Idea It was called this The first monkey that went to spaces. And once I heard It
I knew It was the one.

The story was about David Attenborough going to India and he found a dead monkey so he took
it back to a lab and the data base said that zombie apocalypse so David Attenborough tried ways to
destroy the monkey so he first tried to throw it into a volcano but the volcano blew up and since
this is imagination David Attenborough had powers and that power was indestructible
so the only way to destroy it was to shoot it into spaces.

In this task I enjoyed a lot of things how I  could use my imagination and all others things in it
but the fun thing was that most of  the articles were very funny.

I had some challenges like thinking of something that I could write about.
