What I learnt with Harly

I learnt how to film with Harley.
Harley is a visitor to our school he has been teaching us how to film
and this is what he tort me.

What I learnt with Harley.
Harley told our class that a phone has better voices recorder. Than a tablet.
And he tort our class how to use the clapper board. It was really cool to use it and in the
real film.
 The first  session with Harley was after cross country.
We did an act witch we had to pretend that there were rats in a house. All
of the class joined together because most of the the kid went back home
after cross country. I also learnt how to use the voices recorder with
Harley.

Our second session with Harley.
On our second session with Harley we did an act.
We used the things that you would use in the real
act. After we had done the task Harley shows us an
act he did in Hong Kong five years ago. After
the film we ask him some questions. Some of the
questions were answered and some went. And then the
bell rang we were very disappoint but we could go
home yay!.

Mahi tahi.

In Mahi Tahi we do more than just do the basics. We go to Mahi Mahi to learn 

to work together and help each other. Just like today. Today we did a taste testing activity.

We had to be put in groups of four and two of us would take turns. Me and Lee-zion

had to taste a food and describe it to me and I tried to guess it.

Why we do Mahi Tahi
We do Mahi Tahi to learn and do these four things which is
collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, communication. Which is
the the hardest of them all because we work with others and we
have to share our ideas.

We had a bit of the food in a little
 cup cake wrapper.

If you wanted to challenge  your kids see what
you can do for them. If they have brothers or sisters
give them a challenge and see what they do when they're
being given a task to do and see what their
reaction is when they work together and how they do it
together.😁

Today we look on googly earth for landmarks around the world. Mrs Cutler (our teacher) want us to go and see what landmarks there is to see we look at landmarks and learnt about them. The landmark that I wanted to look at was big Ben in London I love to see the view if I went to the top in real life. I love to see the big building that crowd around the building. I look at the sky tower and all kinds of other country witch was fun.

I would love to go to Russia to explore the wonderful places

and all nice food like their honey pancakes and their smoked salmon.  And I would love to try these drinks like kvass and Mors vodka.                                                                                                                                                                                                           The place that I would really want to go

in Russia would be St Basil's Cathedral. Because

I would love to see what there is and to see the view.

What do you need to have in a biography? Birth date, where they were born, date of death, achievements, early life and adult life, interesting facts and any quotes or stories written by the author.

The new 200 dollar note

 This week  our class did some money creating we had to do it as a 200 dollar note. The pictures had to match with the person that we were talking about. The person that I did was Richie McCaw so I did a   background colour black because it would match his colour in All Blacks and I did a bird called a Fantail which matches with the colour that he was in which is black and white.
